SHANIA TWAIN is suffering from a broken heart following her split with
ex-hubby ROBERT LANGE.
After a painful parting from the award-winning producer, the country star has
released a statement asking fans for time to bounce back.
The couple separated in May, following a 14-year marriage. They have a
six-year-old son EJA D'ANGELO, pronounced Asia, together.
She wrote on her website: "As I am sure you have seen or heard, I am
going through a rough time personally in my life.
"I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through
my music... I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake,
I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever."
